A couple of weeks ago I wrote about high end designers taking their turn at housewares. There was one brand I did not mention, Missoni. That’s because I decided they should get a posting all of their own.
Missoni is doing a collaboration with retailer Target, that is set to launch on September 13 of this year. When I first read about the collabo over at The Striped Elephant, I almost lost it (even sitting here writing about it, I am so giddy!) I cannot wait, as the designer collabos with Target usually include a home line as well. In the meantime, the Italian design house has plenty of items already on the market. From pillows, to throws to bedding. Uh, just not in the Target budget…
What amazing news! I was able to get some really neat pieces when Target collaborated with Liberty of London so I’m excited to see what they come out with in their partnership with Missoni! Thanks for sharing the news!

Awesome! I hope the local Target will be better stocked than it normally is with other designer lines. Especially since the stuff online ALWAYS sells out.

I adore Missoni, their diving fabrics, and those ottomans -oh la la! I will keep watching for the target line to come out, and pray that it’s able to be shipped. xxx
