I told you last week that I would be sharing a super simple gift tag diy with you. Now, just as with holiday greeting cards, I will give a full disclaimer and tell you that I usually buy these pre-made. But, and again as with the cards, every once in a while you miss one or you just want something a bit more personable.
Tools/Materials
- old paper bags
- craft paper
- scissors
- glue stick
- single whole puncher
- string
- Select your background paper
- draw an outline of your tag for cutting
- cut background first then foreground paper in same shape but smaller size
- glue the two papers together
- punch a whole atop for tag holder ( in my case raffia)
…and once you have the basic steps, you can go on to embellish your tags however you like…

So cute! I’m really loving Kraft Paper right now. I just bought a roll of Kraft paper from Ikea a couple of weeks back and am loving it!

So cute! I need to get one of those mini-star stamps immediately! Or, don’t tell me, you cut those tiny stars out by hand??

You overestimate my skills (and drive) Erin! It is actually a Martha Stewart stamp.
