Usually, it isn’t until there is a gloomy dark day out that I get the longing for a day in bed. But, despite the fact that it is a bright sunny day today, I am wishing I could spend the day in bed. I think this bedroom would do the trick. Neutral palette with bold chartreuse walls.
Normally I would bring in such a bold colour via smaller accessories (pillows, vessels, light fixtures etc), here it was brought in one big swoop with paint. Could you be so bold with your spaces?

Haha I’d say that more times than not, regardless of the weather outside, I wish I could stay in bed the entire day. This morning, for example, I groaned when my alarm went off. I feel like I need a solid week just to sleep, and then maybe I’d feel better. Our bedroom is painting a nice dark gray, so I don’t think I could make the adjustment to something so bright. Plus I’m allergic to color anyway 🙂
Erin, we have to find the color that you are not allergic to. I just know it’s out there somewhere!
I love a bold wall! In the bedroom, a bold wall would be so cheery, even on days spent in bed 🙂
I love how that chartreuse wall looks in this bedroom but I think I need more serene colors in mine.

I wish I was as bold with colour, because that looks so good. I’ve tried to get better with colour, but I still only use pops of colour here and there.
today is one of those days for me too. i am taking a day off from both doing things and not stressing about not doing things i should be doing. one day. we need a bit of that sometimes. i love chartreuse it’s one of my favorite colors – not sure i could paint a wall that color, but you never know. i have painted all sorts of colors on my walls though: pink, orange, gold, teal, avocado green, eggplant . . . for now i am going with white.

I like this photo! I don’t know if I could paint my own bedroom wall so bright though. Somehow I want my room to feel a little sleepy and grey (or white, navy…)

Definitely, I love bold colours. Maybe not chartreuse for me, although it does look great with the colour palette in this room. x
I tend to be safe with color & use bold or bright color in small doses. With sunny days ahead I start looking for lighter & brighter colors in pillows & accessories. I love this room but I think I would tire of it quickly.
A day in bed sounds divine! I love to look at colour used in other people’s home but I tend to shy away from them in my own.
