Hello and Happy Friday.
I am leaving you for the weekend with an image of this beauty of a cake. It’s my birthday on Monday and I always crush extra hard on beautiful cakes around this time. Not that I am I have fancy tastes in the cake department. Give me a chocolate, Dominican or Carvel icecream cake and I’m good. I also found the most amazing pecan coffee cake at Whole Foods last week…well, you can see where this is going. I like cake.
When I came across the image above, my heart skipped a beat. What an elegant confectionery dream. Could you even imagine cutting into this? And sure, it is actually meant as a wedding cake. But for my pretend birthday party, it’ll do.
So I bid you adieu and I hope to see you back here on Wednesday. I’ll be at home, hopefully deep in cake heaven.
