Today’s home tour takes us to an industrial loft in cape town. The owners are a pair of architects, Greg and Kate Scott, with no interest in leaving the comforts of city-center living. Even after the arrival of a little one. Which, at 840 square feet (78 sq m), would prove to be quite the challenge.
Although small, the space was once divided into a number of segments. The renovation aimed to create an open plan of uninterrupted spaces. This was achieved with the knocking down of any dividing wallsĀ andĀ built-in cabinetry. A monochromatic paletteĀ helps to tie it all in and avoids any of the space feel like it is segmented from the rest.
And once again, I find myself swooning over bed storage– oh hello shoe shelf!
