Today’s house tour takes us to a small Brooklyn apartment. How small? 675 square feet (62.7 sq m).
With one of the owners working for a firm dedicated to a less-is-more approach to design and living, it would be a challenge well met. All things considered extra were sold off online prior to the move.
Because of the state it was in, they were able to get it for a low enough price that would allow them to do a complete renovation of the two-bedroom apartment. There was not a single inch of the space left untouched after the four month renovation project.
Space saving was, of course, top priority. Both bedrooms were furnished with Murphy beds. Sliding doors provide unobtrusive privacy and white walls and additional windows keep the rooms flooded with natural light.

saving money on the purchase of the home and not needing much materials for such a small place, meant the owners could opt for high end finishes and materials.

And here I though people move to Brooklyn for more space. 675 square feet is smaller than my downtown Manhattan apt! They made really good use of their space though and I really like the clean minimal design.
