Ahh, the rabbit hole that is the internet- you never know where it will lead. I recently came across Brooklyn based designer Farah Sit, co-owner of the shop Fashioned by while on some other search on Etsy.
Her beautifully simple hanging planters caught my eye right away. An industrial designer by trade, Sit came up with the idea for these planters when she realized she was running out of surface space to put her plants on (a situation I can totally relate to). The result is a collection of small porcelain hanging pots in soft organic shapes.

These would be cute for herbs in the kitchen if you have tiny counters like I always seem to. You’d just have to keep using the things that grow out of control.
That HD story is hilarious. I probably would have started laughing once I realized he had a spy story or burglary use for every product they sell. I’m not sure where they get their employees either but least he was funny! 🙂

…and might, inadvertently be a good way to finally start using fresh herbs…

Very cool, I love the 2nd photo with the spiky plant which contrasts the smooth planter. Have a fab weekend. xxx

How cute, a nest for plants, but from the first picture I assumed those would be bigger. But excellent size for herbs.

This is exactly what I need for my little house as I have totally run out of surface for anything! Checking it out now!
