Hello and Happy Friday.
Well today we are on our way back home after a two week holiday in Turkey. It’ll be hard getting back into the swing of things, but I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and enjoying the simple things in life..like understanding the language.
So I am leaving you today with an image of a street I found myself in while exploring the area of Taksim in Istanbul. I took a few turns and ended up in an area with all sorts of thrift stores specializing in furniture and antiques: bliss. Later on I’ll share one of the shops with you in a post. But, until then, I am wishing you a lovely weekend (during which I will be dealing with jet lag no doubt)!
There is nothing better than crawling into your own bed after being away on holiday! I can’t wait to hear all about your trip – have a lovely weekend and hopefully the jet lag won’t be too bad!

Thanks all- just got home and it’s looking like the first round will go to jet lag (lots of of folks go to bed at 8:30 on a Friday night, no??)
