I first saw this house some time ago. But, I’ve decide to take a break from the modern kick I have been on, to revisit this cute, bright and liveable cottage.
The 1938 home belongs to a native of California who now lives full time in London and uses this as the family Summer home. There is a vibrancy to the place that is brought in via a mix of bright colors and patterns. Lucky for the owner, her sister happens to be interior designer Krista Stewart.
Stewart describes her style as one where she gathers things that she loves, and makes them work together. In this case, it results in a home that is crisp and cheerful in tone.

I love, love, love this house. There’s my bike out the front and hubby’s surfboard at the back. I know those cute black spotty footstools and the yellow rug would like to come and live with me! It’s just all perfect. I think I am more a cute cottage kinda gal, than a sleek modern one. Have a wonderful w/end xxx
