Hello and Happy Friday.
Well, power/internet is still not up. The parade was cancelled, and Halloween has been foiled for the second year in a row as last year around this time we were hit with a snow storm that also left us in the dark.
But I am trying my best to focus on something more positive. Like, how beautiful flowers can liven up a space, even during colder (darker) months.
Keep your fingers crossed for us. And whatever your plans may be, don’t forget the power of blooms in your interior spaces.

This series makes me feel like a little kid every time you have a new post. I am mystified by it! I really, truly love these. I hope you get power back soon! You’re a champion for blogging the whole week without power, I can’t even imagine! xo

I really hope you get power soon. Hang in there. I hope it’s not too cold outside, so houses would stay warm.
A’s parents are coming to NY in three weeks and also because of that I hope things get normal soon.
Love this bloom series you do but I also love the photo of the woman over the fireplace, that’s intense.

Temperatures have dropped considerably. On the upside, the balcony is now doing double duty as an open air fridge.

Sorry to hear that your Halloween was foiled, I know how much you were looking forward to it. But you’ve done another amazing job with these floral gems. The first (and last) room is gorgeous, it really needed those burst of warm colour. x

Hang in there!! My Dad just got power back in NJ about 2 hours ago – he is 82 and I was getting very worried about it. It is so hideous but hang in and it will be back soon! ;-))

Wow Sarah, I hope he’s ok and I’m so glad he got power sooner rather than later.

I hope you get your power back soon! No power is fun for about 4 hours then it gets really old. Good thing it’s cold out so you can keep some things in your new “fridge”.
I love the interiors you have posted and you are so right about how large of an impact flowers can make.

You know how much I love these posts of yours, I find myself bouncing up and down in my chair with excitement! So sorry to hear that Halloween was spoiled and that you are still without power. I did wonder what people were doing for fridges! Fingers crossed that everything gets back to normal for you soon.

Wait, is that some kind of magic trick? That is so cool! 😉
Santa, I’m so sorry to hear you still do not have power. Inch by inch people are getting it back…Hope you don’t have to wait too much longer. Nina is back up, maybe that means you’re not too far behind (fingers x). Thinking of you.

I was without power, heat or hot water for 9 day so i feel your pain. It’s been back for 3 days now and I still walk around in the dark. Time to get back to normal…
And I love how you did that with the flowers! I wish I was tech savvy!
