Thank you so much for all of your kind words and well wishes yesterday.
It seems homestilo isn’t the only one celebrating an anniversary. Crate & Barrel just turned 50 this past December. To commemorate the event, they have teamed up with 12 designers/design houses to create limited edition porcelain teapots based on their original, Bau Haus inspired version. Each month, through November of this year, a new teapot will be made available for purchase.
Each design is being released in quantities of 200 and each teapot is numbered and signed by the artist. And thus far the $200 price tag doesn’t seem to be a deterrent, as the four designs that have been released have already sold out.

Hellooo April teapot! I can certainly see why so many of them have sold out, people love the exclusivity of a limited edition, and besides, the designs are amazing! I honestly had no idea C&B was that old. Wow!

The March teapot is my favorite – not only is it my birthday month, but I love the graphic detailing of the butterfly. And…I’ve been loving citron lately!

The January and April teapots really tickle my fancy. I love the little crate the teapots come in as well but I would probably not spend $200 on one…

Gosh, they’re beautiful. I did see an magazine ad for these anniversary tea pots and thought to myself that I wouldn’t mind owning one. However, I didn’t realize they were $200 each. Well, when I think about it, the teapots are little pieces of art.
