The movie preview I attended last week took place at the Crosby Street Hotel in downtown Manhattan. The common areas where quite posh. My friend and I were thinking we should have made a weekend out of it and just checked ourselves into the boutique hotel. I didn’t snap any pictures, but luckily there website is chock full of them, so I can share it with you here.
The 11 story warehouse-style hotel sits on a cobbled street and has seen the likes of guests like Daniel Craig & Demi Moore. Rooms start at about $560 USD for a night, but you can always pop in for afternoon tea or a drink at the bar for a more affordable taste of the place.

Good lord, I can’t get over how expensive boutique hotels are. They’re beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but wow! I just downloaded an app called Hotel Tonight which gives daily deals on a few hotels in whatever city you select, so it’s kind of like Priceline. I think I might try it out on my next trip to New York! Who knows, maybe I’ll get lucky and snag this one!

I’ve only been in the lobby of the Crosby. The rooms are certainly swank and modern.

A rooftop kitchen garden??? That is so my style! Looks super lush and way too pretty to be atop of building! I bet it would be so peaceful among the city to dine up there.

I came across this beauty a few years ago and the rooftop garden really sold it to me. How awesome would it be to go to a movie premier and end up checking in to this place for the weekend? Ah, a girl can dream!

Yes I quite fancy a drink at that bar. I love that black wall in the top bedroom. x
