The image of this Brooklyn loft popped up on Pinterest the other day. The way that the space has been set up, pulled me right in.
The loft belongs to a couple who are a photographer and jewelry designer. Often in a loft space, a more minimal or modern style is employed. But instead, they have warmed up the space with saturated hues on velvet sofa and added a pair of stadium seats to complete this sitting area. A gallery wall cleverly masks a wall unit air conditioner. And large house plants bring it all to life.
In the dining area, modern chairs with metal legs and rustic wooden benches, serve as seating. The same type of painted bench can be seen on the lower left corner doing duty as a plant stand.
Although the space is not very large, the tall ceilings and detail like the open staircase, keep it from feeling small or cramped. The diagonal floor planks just seem to draw you right in.
Sometimes all you need to see is one area of a home to get captivated. That is basically what happened to me here. But, if you are interested in seeing much more of this space, please visit freunde von freunden.

I swear creatives always decorate their homes more creatively! It was fun to see her jewelry studio space as well.

Yes. I guess when you are creative, it spills on to other areas 😉
