Remember a while back when I won that all so cute Love print from Area Fare? I also received a calendar along with the print. I thought it would be nice to frame the calendar and even nicer to be able to write notes around it.
1. using the frame as sizing guide, cut craft paper with craft knife
2. draw lines (in this case dotted) on bottom of craft paper to use as guide when writing
3. frame
4. hang
5. enjoy for the rest of the year! (with a dry erase marker)
Oh, and if you are wondering why the frame is brown in the materials used image and white at the end…I decided I wanted a white frame and knew they wouldn’t have it at the store. So, I used contact paper to change the color of the frame.

Love this DIY Santa! That calendar print is so pretty and your framed, writing board concept is ever so clever.

This is a really cool DIY! I like it way more than a dry erase board as it is much more sophisticated!

That’s such a great idea. I love glass marker boards. 🙂

I’ve usually painted the frames, if I wanted different colour. Thanks for introducing the contact paper idea!

GREAT calendar idea and GREAT result! I recommend framing maps so you can write on it too. The wonders of dry erase.
