The June issue of Real Simple features some creative storage and organizational ideas from different “clutter busters”. I snapped a few images to share with you.
Author Katie Brown keeps the toy clutter contained in plastic boxes labeled with photos.
Prop stylist Rebecca Omweg stores items not often used (holiday decor, small appliances) in numbered IKEA plywood boxes. She then keeps a list with what items are in which box.
Kate S. Brown, an organizer, keeps office essentials on a rolling cart. Wheels on the cart allow her to move her paperwork, etc from place to place around the house. The small size means she has to be mindful of clutter and unnecessary items.

I just love those numbered plywood boxes. So lovely! I WISH I was this organized 😉

I keep imaging there are twelve plywood boxes, number 12 would hold Xmas things and number 4 easter stuff, 11 thanksgiving and so on. That would be fun. And you wouldn’t need a list 🙂

The boxes with the numbers are cute but I’d totally forget what I put where and then have to pull everything out when I was desperately looking for something.
Some day I will be organized and it will be so nice. 🙂

Fabulous, I love anything that keeps thins clean & tidy. We just added some vintage lockers to our home, and it’s brilliant – the kids have two each to store school bags, books, shoes etc, and hubby puts his lap top and work things in there. Handy and they look great! xxx
