Today’s post just had to involve the colour green, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Every now and then we’ll see it in walls, more often than not we’ll find it in accessories. But how fun and unexpected is it to find green on the floor? And with so many variations and treatments available, there is a green floor for everyone. A bold move indeed. A move to make Irish and all other eyes smile.
a white wash keeps it toned down
tiles for high impact
a bright hue for wow effect in an otherwise white/neutral space
a green to match/compliment wall the wall colour…

I love the wide wood planks floors with practically ANY color ; ) Ok, I may be a lil chicken to paint it green, though it looks amazing in the pics.

Wow! I never thought of using green for floor purposes, but it seems kind of cool. I’m adoring the white wash, and I think it would be perfect in a little cottage!

the bright hue is so reflective off the stainless steel oven!

Those tiles are very pretty in the otherwise white room.

I agree that I thought green on the floor was unexpected too, but all these photos are convincing me that I was wrong! I really love the tile in that dining room and the tiny little orange plant in that one living room 🙂 xo
