Hello and Happy Friday!
You know how you hear about people who, as kids, dreamed of running away and joining the circus? Well, I think for those of us who love interiors, the dream is to run away and join a studio workshop of some sort*. The above image of the Heath Ceramics Clay Studio makes me want to do just that.
The mid century pottery house has been in the business of creating items with heart and soul for over 60 years. The Clay Ceramics Studio is used as a space where designers/creators can do hands-on experimenting with materials, concepts and the process involved in developing pieces.
And hey, for those of us who are not able to run away and join them just yet, they also offer tours of their Sausalito and San Francisco facilities 😉

This is exactly where I’d run away to too. I’ve been wanting to work with ceramics since I was at school and missed the one ceramics class we ever had during art….and I’ve been longing to try it ever since.
