Hello, there! It’s been a while hasn’t it? Now, I know the last time I went “On Hiatus“, it was around this time last year and I was gone for a while. But I promise this isn’t that. Just trying to sort some things out with little ‘ol homestilo before moving forward (should I stay or should I stop?, do I want to go in a different direction?… sigh, you know, blogger issues, more sighs)
But I’ll be in touch via Instagram, Pinterest and hope to keep reading all of your blogs for some inspiration!

Girl, I totally get blogger issues, and I’m wondering ALL the time, Why go on? Ultimately? I do it for my family. But then, mine is a very different sort of blog than yours. 😉 Oh, and I wanted to say, from a comment you left on a post of mine way, way back about traveling and kids: the first time we traveled internationally with our son he was only 15 months old and it was great. We haven’t looked back. He (obviously doesn’t remember that trip), but our memories of it are very important to him and our subsequent travels have instilled a love of travel and other cultures in him that are so important. So don’t hesitate! Just my 2 cents! 😉 XO

i understand the blogger issues. sometimes i feel so inspired and excited by it all, and then there are other times i feel like “wha…?” but when i do take a break i usually realize that the real reasons i do it are pretty personal. i started it as an extension of my business and while it still is that, the reason i enjoy it is mostly for the relationships i have forged. working from home and raising kids can be so isolating, blogging definitely alleviates that for me. though, having said that, i DO think i should take breaks more often when i need to. breaks are good! enjoy yours 🙂
