Today, a look at how Canadian decorator extraordinaire, Debbie Travis, decks the halls in her Montreal home. The home itself has many traditional and formal pieces. But touches like a frosted wreath and snow white stockings keep the holiday decor light and airy.

So classic. I love that bay window. The frames are so ornate on the glass panes, I’ve never seen anything like that. I would funky-up the furniture a bit and maybe make it more modern and (gasp!) colorful, but I love all of the original architectural details. And, of course, that tree.

Oh this I like. That satin(?) band on the tree is a nice touch. And I love the colour scheme.
The bench by the window looks like heaven.

Oh, the gold mirror on the mantel and the little wheels/feet on the sofas, and of course everything else. It feels very elegant, but not stuffy. All the natural light in this home is very beautiful, as well.
