Taking a look today at the home of blogger and decorator Tim Lam. It is the home he shares with his partner Chris.
The 800 square foot (74 sq m) condo in Waterloo, Ontario, had not seen many changes until Tim came along. Updates included the kitchen where the cabinets and countertop went from a dark to a light palette. Also the addition of wallcoverings wherever Tim could get away with it.
The partners were torn between a look that was clean and rustic or one that would be more city glam. The marriage of the two comes together perfectly in their dining area which features a detailed cottage style door found at a Habitat Rehab Store along with lighting and seating that are modern and chic.
My favorite feature, is the pull out storage drawer under the bed. As we all know, you can never have too much storage. And as a fellow condominium dweller, I can confirm that this perhaps even more true when living in an apartment.
You can see more of Tim’s home on his blog Design Maze.

The two toned kitchen cabinets are growing on me. I’ve seen a lot more of that trend recently
