I’ve had an idea. For this season, why not feature homes decorated in all of their holiday glory? And why not begin with this White Christmas inspired home in Vancouver? I came across it during one of my visits through Style At Home and it immediately made me want to break out the holiday decor.
The homeowner, Stephanie Vogler, has done a great job of keeping things wonderfully understated. The Vogler’s tip, she collects ornaments in white, silver and gold. Then, adds pieces in whatever accent colour she is feeling in the season.

Love the understated holiday! It’s all the charm and no kitsch! All of the white in her home really sets up for a white and bright Christmas!

great images, I really like the white tree. I’d love to find a vintage one.

Love it, love the dreamy creamy white and all those touches of gold and silver. Give me a bottle of Rosé anytime, too. I’d totally go for that pile of string lights on the floor (love the look) but I’m pretty sure my dog would electrocute himself trying to eat them. He’s like that.

Super pretty and super classy. Now that we’re adults, you’d think white would last longer at our home before getting dirty. I do really like that tree!

Well, as you can see from the last image, Vogler has managed to do it even with a little one at home. So, I trust you would be fine 🙂

I like her ‘neutral’ decorating idea – just like a neutral room that can change with a pop of color -so can the holiday decor. It can change from year to year with little effort or money. Thanks for the inspiration!

I looooove the white winter wonderland look!!! The 1st photo’s tree looks like the artificial snow design xmas tree I just purchased …. except mine would be considered a ‘mini me’, abut 2 feet tall with lush ‘faux’ snow on it. I love adding small trees to our bedroom’s nightstand to keep the rooms also festive 🙂

Mini trees in the bedroom?! That sounds like a such a sweet detail!

Oh, I do like how this home is decorated for the holidays. It’s all very subtle and doesn’t scream holiday. I love the idea of pooling some twinkling lights on the floor. No fuss, but still festive looking.

I absolutely love this home!! The upholstered headboard against the subtle wallpaper is gorgeous, and I love the living/dining area with the beautiful chaise. x

Ah so white. I’ve been fantasizing about a a white tree, but I do like the real spruce I always get.

I use exactly the same tip! I’m happy to see it works so well, now I know to continue with this decoration theme for years.
