It is located in Georgian Bay in Ontario Canada. The homeowners, Juli Daoust and John Baker (of Mjolk), were actually able to refurbish quite a few pieces already in the house. Like the once brass sconce lamps flanking the fireplace.
I could see bright Summer days and cozy Winter nights in this place. But I am most curious to get your take on the use of plywood in the kitchen and bedroom…

Interesting use of plywood, indeed! White floors make all the difference, check out how much light that place gets! Have a good weekend! xo

The plywood gives off a a raw unfinished look which I have to say I’m not all that crazy about but I am a fan of the white floors.
Thanks for your support Santa! Fingers crossed that it might work.
Happy weekend!

I’m not really big on the plywood BUT I do really like all the different textiles and the woven rugs

Hmmm, very interesting, but I’m not sure I would like this. I think I would paint it at the very least. It does lend a rustic touch though. 😉

I luv the sleek casualness of the side chairs. And the bench .. with side ropes – loooove (as always, unique elements!). Great find!

I’ve seen some pretty cool kitchens recently featuring ply wood. It’s a lovely contrast, in both texture and colour, to the white laminate. I like the cupboards, not sure about the walls and roof though. x

i love the living room and that dining room, especially the tapestry/rug (?) on the wall. i also love the rug in the living area. not sure how i feel about the plywood. i think i would personally see it as “plywood” especially in the kitchen. i like it better in the bedroom.
