Is it too early for a look at beach homes? Frankly, in these parts, it may be. But on the blog, who cares about all of that?
The homeowners here chose a color palette to represent the area: red for the small farm houses on the Brittany region and blues and greys for the sea and sky.
I just can’t help but look at this place and wish I was on my way somewhere for a long weekend (What?, Is it too early for talk of the weekend as well??). It just seems to beckon “come on over, take a load off”. And the fact that it is on the French Island of Belle Ile, doesn’t hurt either.

It looks cosy and relaxing – just what you want for a seaside home. x

This is my kind of place Santa! It’s quirky, cluttered and full of charm! That kitchen would be my home-from-home if I lived here!

Yes yes yes please! Though I’d probably go with more muted colors myself, I definitely love the reasoning behind these color choices. But let’s be honest, I’d take any home in France and be grateful. xo

That home looks like it’s perfectly set up for a Fourth of July celebration (even though it’s French). Is it too late to get it for the weekend?

the colors are a bit outside of my normal repertoire but that’s what makes interior design so lovely – the stories behind it. and i really love the feel of the kitchen. and i really, really love the location!
