This welcoming retreat lies in the historical region of Cantabria in northern Spain. Tall ceilings, built-ins and an open plan living/dining area give it a modern feel. But then touches like the use of warm wood tones, floral drapery and baskets throughout, make it feel traditional and welcoming. Exposed beams and trims are painted in a warm blue green while brights like fuchsia bring in a pop of colour- and all of it with a white backdrop.
I for one wouldn’t mind spending time under that bright pink throw and sitting by the fire place.

I love the mix of the raw wood, the baskets, and that white stone fireplace. Spanish villas are really growing on me! If you call the sofa, I call a chair by the giant windows in that living room.
