The latest issue of Lonny magazine features the weekend home of Hatch creator Ariane Goldman. To update the home when they purchased it, the Goldman’s painted the walls in a bright white. But they left the many exposed beams and frames in their original dark colour. The contrast makes for an airy yet cozy home. Located in a pine forest but close enough to the beach, this home is perfect for enjoying the best of all seasons.

Yes to all of it please! I’ve always been drawn to the Hamptons look (although, who isn’t, right?!). I particularly adore that upstairs bedroom. It’s so bright and breezy, yet cozy too. The perfect mixture.

Bertoia-style chairs are always a good idea. And I love that bonne nuit pillow. I’m so going to buy one of those when I have the need for a nursery/playroom. That house is awesome.
Those windows are amazing. I would love to go to the East Coast to experience the homes and their decor, it’s very diff from Midwest decor.
