Today’s @ home belongs to dancer Viviane Franco and her husband. After living in both, Santiago de Chile and New York for some years, they have dropped anchor in the suburb of Jardins. They have furnished the home with the items they have collected while living abroad, so the vibe is eclectic but also quite cohesive.
Special touches in the home include a custom divider in the living/home theater area, that doubles as the couple’s book case. Also, in the kitchen, a 1960’s refrigerator has been outfitted with a new motor to reduce its energy consumption.
Update: This amazing renovation was done by the architectural firm of Contrera e Biarari of Brazil.

Oh my…that is a gorgeous bookcase! I’ve always wanted a library filled with ceiling-to-floor bookcases such as this one.

What a cool home! I love homes that have been built up slowly and where the pieces have stories attached to them. I especially love the wall with the big flowers on, oh and the bed, and the tiles in the kitchen… xxx

The tiles in the kitchen are to die for…and I love the turquoise bench.
