This is another magnificent home in the west side of London that makes me think, “…if only it weren’t for the weather…” (It’s a fact, you see, that my dream home will be selected, among other things, based on my fear of bad weather and ratio of bugs.)
The common areas on the main floor include a kitchen and dining area separated by a wall of black steel framed windows. The same sort of wall of windows was also used to separate the master bedroom from the bath.
Polished concrete floors, subway tiles and plenty of marble in the bath. The materials used throughout the house are also selling me on this place big time.

That marble bathroom is awesome! I love how it looks, so regal yet modern! You are not a slacker for making only a cake for thanksgiving…my cheesecake is very easy to make it is like under 5 steps but it does require baking :). The cookies are also a favorite of my family so I’ll make those too!

I spy a little throw pillow with hot air balloons on it! So cute it makes me swoon!

I love the use of subway tiles in that house, especially with the dark grout. It reassures me that we made the right decision with picking black grout to go with our subway tiles in the upcoming bathroom remodel…

i really love this one. i absolutely love the windows as room dividers and the tiles and the skylight. but i agree, i lived in england for a bit and the weather was a lot like it is here in portland. when i moved i want a an upgrade in average temperature (and, yeah, no big bugs!)

SWOON, those black casement windows are just to die for. I love the use of them as dividing walls because they still allow so much light. That’s amazing. And I would kill for a Viking range stove even though I don’t cook, haha. London weather isn’t really all that bad, I swear! You just have to love the rain 🙂

Lovely home – I lived in London for 3 years and that is where my serious interest in interior design started…well, really as a child, but, I took a home study course there – I still love to buy English design mags as a treat and I love flying somewhere because I treat myself to 3 or 4 for the flight! Have a great Thanksgiving!! ;-))

In your dream home, there will be no bugs!
I really like the color of the kitchen cabinetry and the pendant light in the bedroom in this space.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

Wow that’s beautiful. I love those gorgeous wooden stairs leading off the polished concrete, the rustic chairs and the subway tiles. x

I love this home, Santa. So many smart choices and touches – marble in the bathroom, giant dog photo over the bed, and subway tile, to name a few. Those black steel windows are everything! I’m determined to paint the trim of all my windows in my home black when/if I ever get the chance. It’s so beautifully dramatic.
