Country road, take me home. Especially if said road leads to a home in the south of France and has views of the Cèvennes mountains. This home in Lourmarin, Provence has those views and is full of character to boot.
The owners opted to complement the stone colours found inside with muted purples and pinks and undertook renovations with local help. In fact, local craftsmen worked on every part of the home: from construction to furniture pieces like wicker chairs.

Oh the first picture from the inside area. Wow. It feels so fresh and even cold but it must be a wonderful place in hot south France.

I think I want to visit / move to Provence just because of how Peter Mayle describes it – wonderful in every season and full of food and wine!

Be still my heart! This is my dream home, from top to bottom. All that stone and all those rustic elements…mega swoon! Love that concrete kitchen, such a surprising style change from the rest of the house. Let’s meet for wine in that garden, yes? Yes.

Huge fan of French rustic. In fact, it inspired my tablescape for the dinner I’m having tomorrow. This home does not disappoint; So beautiful with the all the natural wood and stone.

I love that tiled floor and the mirror you selected as well. This house seems very serene, it would be a perfect weekend house.
My very small and unscientific survey says that Kate Spade used to be better before it was purchased by Liz Claiborne. I have an old bag that is still in perfect shape. Not sure I want to spend the money on a new one to find out!
