Again, I can’t thank you all enough for your kind words on Monday’s post/announcement. Also for your input on the dresser vs. desk changing table dilema. This is definitely a new adventure, so I appreciate all tips and suggestions.
New and old come together in this two level home, along with some of the owners’ more personalized pieces. And they all play nice with a white washed background.

Ooh, I do love the white beams, and that mint-y Smeg fridge in the kitchen! And the striped sheets, but that’s a given 🙂
What a fun space and the roof angles look cool but the I don’t think the claustrophobic in me would actually want to live with that. I like my ceilings high lol 🙂

What a great comfy place. I would definitely feel very restful and relaxed there. What is it about white that is so restorative? The owners made such a smart decision to white wash those ceiling beams; Such a beautiful effect.
anything i like? can i say everything? the beams, the windows, the floors, the tulip chairs and table, the bed linens, the smeg . . .

I love the skylights and windows that bring in plenty of light.
I love the light in this apartment and all the white makes sure the light is the biggest feature.
The place is amazing but the wooden ceiling really speaks to me, it makes the spaces feel really cozy.
..and who can say no to cozy with a dash of mod?
