Normally I would be terrified of a place that gets so cold in the Winter, that it has an underground city system for it’s residents. But, Montreal really is a gem of a city. Some say it’s like having a slice of Europe in North America.
I came across this Montreal apartment through Style At Home. It belongs to designer/stylist Nicola Marc. As you will see, she has definitely made the most of the 900 sq ft/83.6 sq in this 1920’s apartment.

Montreal is such a great city! Everyone speaks French, there are charming cafes and wonderful parks, they take street cleaning very seriously, and bicyclists have their own lane everywhere (not just with a white dividing line, but with an actual concrete curb designating their own lane). It’s a fabulous city and you have to visit! It’s making me want to go back, but definitely not in the winter, haha. I love that apartment. Proof that you don’t need 3000sq ft to have a well decorated abode! That bathroom is fabulous, love the wall color and the sink. And that tiled wall in the kitchen! I’m not the only one who looks at the coffee table books, am I? I know and love both of those books well.

This is definitely another city I want to add to my ever-growing list (but to visit in summer of course). And what a charming home! I love your pillow choice!

Usually there are one or two photos of a place that stand out to me, but I really love this whole place.
Am I the only one who has only been to Montreal in the winter? It’s really not so bad, although since you grew up in the Caribbean you might panic. I love it so much, even in winter, that I regularly look at real estate there. I’m saving to buy something small.

Love the art and furniture, so modern but inviting just what the doctor ordered. 😉

I absolutely love this home, it’s so pretty with just enough colour and pattern to keep me happy. The curtains in the kitchen/dining area are gorgeous. x

Love the space and that they mixed in some Ikea pieces here and there. In addition to the ps cabinet I spot the desk top and the bathroom sink/vanity. Just know because I looked at both for myself too 😉 Montreal is so beautiful even in the cold and snow. We took a road trip there once over Thanksgiving weekend…

@Nina & @Jeanine What brave souls you are! I’ve only been in the Summer and think I’d be too scared to brave it in the Winter. I actually grew up in NJ where it can get quite cold. But still, Winters in places known for having a strong season always scare me…Although, as long as there is underground shopping, you might be able to convince me!
