A home needn’t be overly spacious to work. This place is the perfect example of that. It is 29 m²/312 sq ft, and all about the double duty. The living area discretely conceals the bed in a mezzanine. The kitchen doubles as the dining room. A pocket door opens up to a walk through closet which doubles as the laundry room on the way to the bath. It is a combination of brilliant architectural planning and making sure everything is in it’s place- sort of like what we talked about on Monday.

What a cute little place. The space is very cleverly used. I wouldn’t mind curling up in the bedroom nook at night, so cozy. Also like the industrial feel of the bathroom.

Great post. The Europeans are so efficient with space! And there is definitely something to be said for coziness, which is why I have always preferred smaller living spaces to large ones.

You’re right, it’s a small space but that kitchen does look big. And they have made use of all the space

I love all the colors!!! We travelled for a while with our motorhome and later a fifth wheel and I remember thinking “man, we don’t NEED anything we have really” But I sure do like all my “junk” 🙂

I love reading about small spaces, they always have some ingenious solutions that can be applied even in bigger scale.
It’s amazing how such a big kitchen has been fit to so small apartment.
