I really wish I had some before images of today’s home. From the homeowner’s description, it sounds like it was quite the sight: crumbly, rotting and rough are just some of the terms used to describe it. In fact, the home had not seen any renovations since 1955.
But after a “guerilla” style, 3 month renovation project along side Christi Azevedo of Azevedo Design Inc, they managed to turn this house into a contemporary haven.
The homeowners are Lorena Siminovich, founder of Petit Collage and Esteban Kerner, a design director at Old Navy. So there was a “design for the masses” approach to furnishing the home and plenty of pretty graphic art prints for the decor.

This is definitely my kind of home, Santa. I love the white walls, and the pops of colour, and the artwork, and all the typography. Yum! xxx

@stripedelephant The beams in the living room ceiling are a few of the things from the original home that they were able to keep.
