…and we’re back to swooning looking in on some lovely homes. Coziness abounds in this 16th Century farmhouse. I especially like how, in the living room, the home’s imperfections seem to be celebrated rather than hidden from view.Ā And, despite a slew of exposed beams, the interiors manage to stay light and airy with the help of light coloured walls and textiles.

guh! you had me at farm house. every time i visit my grandparents in brazil and spend time at their farm house, i crave for a simple life in the quite forest surrounded by hills, with a raw finish kitchen that homemade meals are made in… so dreamy!

So lovely! It reminds me of the weekends we used to spend at a childhood friends in Norfolk in the summer.

I loved reading this partly because of that charming cottage. (Hello, can you say “arched, beamed ceiling” anyone?) And partly because I live in Norfolk…Virginia. š We could pull that look off here, I think. Nautical ship in the bathroom, beachy bleached beams and floors. Now I just need the farmhouse!
