I could kick myself for not having bought a rug during that day trip from Spain to Tangier that one time…I just don’t do very well in situations where hard sells and haggling are involved…
One particular type of Moroccan rug that is still going strong in the home trend department, is the Beni Ourain. These carpets are woven from undyed natural wool and traditionally decorated with brown, grey or black geometric designs. Though they historically hail from the Berber tribes of Northern Africa, they are quite at home in modern day Western interiors.
And if you hadn’t noticed this rug before, I promise you that you will now spot it in every other Pin having to do with interior design.

I’ve got one of these in my home (and it won’t stop shedding!)

Well that’s a good point Rooth: beware of the shedding!
