How was your weekend? Ours was hot – but no complaints here (Ok, maybe on Saturday I did spend some time on the complaining part).
Hard to believe we are already at the halfway mark in the year! Here’s a look at some home items spotted in the month of April…
1 Have you ever tried making your own popsicles? I haven’t. But this book has me very interested in the possibilities- I mean, 55 recipes?! | people’s pops, amazon $13
2 I am feeling the colour scheme and the design of this indoor/outdoor pendant | huron pendant , west elm $90
3 Miss taking pictures like in the good ‘ol days, with film? Then you need to check out Lomography and their impressive inventory of cute retro cameras | diana mini camera $109
4 Nothing says ready for Summer at home like seasonally inspired bedding | gemma reversible quilt, world market $130

My mom had a popsicle mold kit when I was a kid, and we made kool-aid pops alllll the time growing up. I could eat 3 of them on especially hot summer days. Now I want to make more!

Oooooh I didn’t know People’s Pops had a recipe book out – they’re so good!

I have made pops before! We have a lil popsicle maker but we aren’t very good at it and could definitely use a guidebook. Turns out, pops need more than just tea or juice – they need cream and sugar to make them taste good!

My kids would love me if I bought them the popsicle book, but the Lomography camera would be first choice. x

We used to make popsicles from… well pop, but those never turned out quite nice. After the first lick there was just the ice left on the stick 🙂 Maybe I need that recipe book too.

Making your own popsicles is such a big thing right now! I’ve been seeing popsicle-making books all over the place. Haven’t tried to do it myself yet though…
