homestilo turned 2 yesterday!
This has been such a great outlet for me to share inspiration- and I always knew that it would be. What I didn’t know, was that it would also be a great place to gather support and even make new friends. Thank you so much for tuning in daily (even when I’ve been a bit off lately) and for your thoughtful comments.

Oh I know, it’s a design blog and the post should be called “If This Blog Were a Room”. But I’d rather celebrate with cake.
So, if homestilo were a cake, I think it would marry the sleekness of fondant with a classic, like toile- much like the one above. And on the inside, it would taste like a Dominican Cake (put that on your list if you haven’t tried it!) with a dulce de leche filling.
