There is definitely a draw for entertainers when it comes to interior design. Some have become interior designers themselves (Patti Austin) while others take to designing furniture (Brad Pitt). And let’s not forget the many celebrity home lines that are currently available (400 thread count sheets by Sofia Vergara, anyone?)
Enter CB2‘s Kravitz Design collection. As in Lenny Kravitz.
The exclusive, 20 piece collection is a mix of “…many different styles and environments…”. It also includes a wide range of items: from accessories such as pillows and lighting to larger ones such as a console.
The line is actually not that big of a stretch for Kravitz, who has already established the Kravitz Design firm in downtown Manhattan. But there is something quite cool about being able to attain a piece of the design action on a smaller scale- and all of it is every bit of sexy as one might expect from a Mr. Lenny Kravitz.
I’m kind of surprised that I like his aesthetic! Is that strange? I normally don’t get all excited for celebrity designed items, but I really like some of these!
Not strange at all! Maybe you were taken by surprise by how streamlined the pieces were? (I mean the man has been seen in a leather vest with not shirt on!)
