Mariska Meijers is an artist based out of Amsterdam. She mixes items and graphics in a contemporary style using vibrant colour palettes. She says ,“I stir a cocktail of objects, patterns and colours in my thoughts which I translate straight on to my canvas.”
And although she expresses her art in traditional ways such as paintings and prints, Meijers also uses some of my favourite mediums: pillows, stationery and trays! This last one in particular, I am excited about because I have just learned that her trays will soon be carried at Bobby Berk Home stores. Meijers does have an online store, but it’ll be nice to know I also have access to these lovely items so close to home.
Painted trays are a particular weak spot for me. This is *bad* good news indeed.
