So, for part two of our Turkey posts (also known as “Woe is me, I wish my trip to Turkey hadn’t been canceled”), I wanted to share some work by design studio Autoban. This award winning firm delves into interior design, architecture and product development. Their aesthetic is an inspiring blend of simple modern furniture with a backdrop of traditional details.
Above: Arched entry ways give way to mosaic tiles below and high ceilings above. In between, you are met gorgeous details, such as gold painted radiators.
Above: Now, I am not a fan of mirrored walls. But I am prepared to make an exception for the fabulous mirrored subway tiles used here as the bar’s back splash.

Enough beautiful details to make anyone envious… Perhaps the only thing missing is some beautiful Echelon bedding?!

I love the simplicity of the furniture – beautiful, clean lines – alongside the intricate details like the lights and the moulded plaster ceiling. My favs are the mosaic tiles, and that bedhead. I hope you get to go to Turkey some day, it’s somewhere I would love to go too. The closest I’ve got is Greece.
