… aaand we’re back. So my “hiatus” turned out to be a long and drawn out debate with myself as to whether or not I could maintain homestilo. But I have missed blogging and the blogging community dearly. That void in my life won out and so, I’ve decided to give it another go- and I hope you’ll join me as well?

Now, in an alternate universe, I would enjoy Halloween with a grand dinner and costume party. Really, in said universe, I would get to plan and host themed dinner parties on the regular…
The picture above captures a hauntingly elegant scene. No ghosts or goblins jumping right at you. Simply a traditional table setting with an added overflow of greenery for a touch of mystery and an itsty bitsy spider to remind you why we’re here: to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve in style.
Alas, no dinner parties here. At least with Bebé, I do feel like I get to enjoy Halloween again. I have someone to dress up and I now get to experience trick or treating as a parent. Bonus: he’s only 2 so essentially, all the candy goes to me.

One of the hardest things about not blogging is that it seems to take me away from all of my blogging friends. So happy to be back!
