It is time to put this year’s intentions out into the universe.
This year, I’m not trying to get happy. I’m not trying to get fit. I am certainly not trying to cut out carbs or chocolate- because, that would just be crazy talk in my life.
All I want to do this year, is work on getting rid of stuff. I’m looking at you kitchen counter. You have been the bane of my existence for far too long. Any time I have ever managed to get you under control, you turn around and explode with crap all over again?!
And it’s not that I’m in denial. I don’t expect for any part of my home to look like the beauty of a kitchen pictured above. I’m realistic- I’ve got stuff- and lots of it. But I am determined to pare it down and I am starting with that messy pile of miscellaneous stuff sitting on my kitchen counter.
(Right, we’ll check back in a few months to see how my Declaration of Declutter is holding up…).

Decluttering really requires a focused mindset at least so I’ve found. Good luck with your project!
That’s so cool that you spotted what could be the human versions of Rena and Ian. I better be on the look out LOL ;p

I feel like I’ve been tossing things since the beginning of December (which should probably mean I should buy fewer things, right?)
