Happy Halloween everyone!
I’ve already mentioned how much I love this day. Candy, costumes & collages! {Well, not really collages- I’ve just added that one.}
The Mr., on the other hand, not such a fan. So, for this reason {and only for this reason I’m sure}, I try to keep the decor paired down to a minimum. Here’s how:
1. a few dishtowels around the kitchen for spooky messes
2. a dark, yet welcoming wreath for the front door
3. a ‘gummy ghost’ sits unobtrusively on a bookcase
4. a hand painted lenox bowl takes over the duties of our usual fruit bowl
So there you have it. If you find that your partner isn’t as open to holiday decor as you are, with just a few items, everyone can be happy!

Half the fun of the holidays is the decorating! I’m loving the cute Halloween towels and bowl.

What’s the ghost made of?

It’s really a mystery Lori. It’s a gummy like plastic (thus why I have aptly named him “Gummy Ghost”!) he has a switch at the bottom that, when switched on, triggers a color changing LED light.

Hope you enjoyed your halloween, I know how big it is in America. Not as big here in NZ, but our kids still got dressed up and hubby took them Trick or Treating. xxx

These are all cute and fun halloween accents. My hubby and I share holidays. I handle most of the Halloween decor (I transfromed a pumpkin into a spider this year & i posted it on my blog) and he handles more of the Xmas one …. all with my visual guidance ; ) Did u go to the Village parade? It was sooo much fun!
