Recently, during an Anthropologie chat, I had the opportunity to ask their fabulous buyer, Keith Johnson, what was the one item he thought no hostess/host should be without. His response? “I think the right guest list is the only essential. Everything else is icing on the cake.” Ah, spoken like a true gentleman who knows how to throw a party. Still, I am sure Mr. Johnson would agree that a fabulous table can also set the tone for an amazing evening.

Those spray painted succulents look amazing. I saw a very cute table setting the other day with a simple roll of brown paper as a table runner, and they had stenciled flowers on and painted them white – so simple, but really effective. xxx

are those plaid wine glasses ralph lauren??? i have the rocks glasses, and can get the taller water glass, but have never come across the wine, and was wondering if they existed.
Yes, they are the RL Glen Plaid wine glasses- and you are right, they aren’t exactly ‘readily available’ anymore. You can find them at Replacement Ltd online. Unfortunately they only seem to be sold in quantities of 24 (that’s a big dinner party!). But maybe you can also try eBay?
