Two things you may or may not know about me:
1. When the new week comes around, I am all about getting organized and getting things done (even if this notion fades away by Tuesday)
2. I’m a list maker. And I’m talking, even writing things down after the fact, just so that I can get the satisfaction of crossing them off the list. And I keep these lists everywhere: on random pieces of paper, some on the itouch, some on the wall calendar. It would be nice (and maybe even more, er organized), if I kept these lists in one place though…
I started out the year trying not to write lists. But that didn’t last long and this is definitely a list making week for me. Lists like: ‘projects around home’, ‘shopping’ and ‘blogging’ and include everything from the mundane “pick up bread” to “get rid of wasp nest in balcony”!
Are you a list maker? Do you have a list keeping tip you swear by??

I am definitely a list maker! My lists always ended up way too long and I was never able to cross off everything I wanted to get done during a week so I started to write shorter lists. This keeps me motivated because I can see things progressing and not freak out because I feel like I do not accomplish anything…

I am also an avid list maker, but somehow they end up on sticky notes all over the place…

I love that first shot Santa. The glasses are so charming!

I don’t care how many notes I put on my phone or email, nothing really sticks in my brain unless I make a list on paper and can manually cross everything off. I carry a grid moleskine with me everywhere to jot things down, otherwise I’d forget to pick up shampoo or pay a bill. Definitely a list girl!

I like the idea of the grid moleskin because you can then also draw/sketch in it

I am a HUGE list maker. I use paper journals and am also addicted to Evernote
homestilo says
I really need to get into Evernote- everyone who uses it raves about it

I seem to be like everyone else here. I love lists, and can’t seem to function without them. Although I prefer old school list making on paper, I find that I can organize my lists better using an app. And since I have my phone with me all the time, it just makes sense. My paper lists are now mostly wish lists because I can’t yet abandon paper and pen.

Oh yes! I am a list maker, and I write multiple lists…Or would that mean I have lists within lists? I have a weekly list of to-do, then a weekend to-do list, and then a list of what to do on Sat/Sun.

Yes, definitely a list maker too. It’s so satisfying crossing things off! I do tend to have them all over the place, but I’ve discovered my pads keep disappearing (three small girls use them to doodle on), so I would love to splash out on an iPhone and keep them all on that. x

i, too, am a list maker! i like jotting things down and ticking them off my list. its not as much fun when you’re using a virtual reminder or to-do list!

Are everyone here list makers? 😀
I’m definitely not! But that said I do occasionally write them. Like at work I have a to do list and at home a shopping list. But I refer to them very rarely. I generally write or draw mind maps, which I also never look at. I tend to remember what I have to do and if I don’t then I don’t 🙂
