Because we live in an open plan apartment, I often find myself daydreaming about entryways. Such a (usually) small area of a home, but really something I’ve come to think of as a luxury (and as a must have for our next home). I definitely have to come up with some more creative non-entry solutions here. But, if I had a formal entryway, I think it would go a little something like this…

I really like the first photo, so fresh. But I think entry should be filled with closed storage, the open storage looks so messy way too easily.
Love the bench too.

Love these entrances Santa!!! Beautiful. I especially like the greyed out wood of the 3rd one. xo

Ps. Did you change the colour of your blog header, by chance?! Or am I totally off. Haha.

Love the mirror – really do. I have an open plan apartment too so there’s no space for this type of area, unfortunately

Aha- so you feel my pain then.

I’m a big fan of entranceways too – they really set the tone for the rest of the home. The first photo is very cool, with a Scandinavian feel; and I LOVE the mirror in the second photo. xxx

Love all of them! I do especially looove foyers that show shoes … esp high heels (so chic + cozy).

I feel your pain as our front door opens right into our living room! I’d really love an entry where you could sit down, take off your muddy and wet shoes (because this is London of course) and put your keys down! No. 4 is my favourite!

I love that huge round wooden mirror, I think I have it pinned I love it so much.
Definitely agree that a formal {or even something resembling an} entry is not something generally found in rentals. It should be though, renters are people too. 🙂
