Orchids are one of my favorite flowers. The long stem, the range of colors…They have an understated yet exotic elegance. At first, I found them intimidating and never thought I would be able to grow my own. But look at me now! Every year they return, I do a little victory dance on the inside. But I am not the only one inspired by orchids…

These are beautiful! Orchids are my favorite flower as well – ever since I watched the movie Adaptation with Meryl Streep, which is all about orchids. I even got the book after the movie!
