I currently have a list of projects I am working on. In the coming weeks, I’d like to see some of these come to a close. And, since writing things down on a blog for the world to see gives me some accountability, here are some before and during images (stay tuned for the “afters”).
Art Project: From the time I decided to do this, till now this has taken waayyyy longer than what was necessary.Target for completion: this week.
Dining Room Chair Upholstery: During an 8 week session of a “Beginners Upholstery Class”, I was able to reupholster a dining room set. I am down to one last session and one last chair! Target for completion: next week.
Studio Apartment Plan: I am assisting a young couple with the layout and decor of their studio apartment. Below is a board where I was playing around with some floor lamp and side table ideas. Target for completion: this one involves quite a few factors so it will be a bit trickier. But I should have several boards to present by next week.

I’m sure you will finish the last chair next week! And I’m curious to see the finished art project. My to-do list has gotten out of hand, it’s so long I would need years to finish it. Maybe I have to start setting smaller goals for each week…

Umm…as long as I don’t have a repeat of last week…Yes, I should be done next week 🙂

How very cool. I use Asana to help me keep track of my to-dos. Check it out – it’s free!

I have so many projects on my to-do list right now. It’s daunting to even look at that list anymore.

I cannot wait to see the chairs! My mom actually designs home furnishings and also does re-upholstery! These are excellent goals 🙂 BTW…the kidney shaped sofa was donated to me from my parents in their old living room, the sofa was bought in the late 90s believe it or not 😉

Why am I not surprised to learn this about your (super) mom?

Your chairs look fab, and I really love both of the side tables in the last image. Good luck with your deadlines. xxx

Oh wow you’ve got a lot done on the upholstery classes.
I tend to rewrite my to-do lists. I don’t keep them I just write my thoughts on paper and then toss them. I have so many ideas on what to do and I could never do them all. So I do what ever feels necessary at the time.
