As much as I love design, I also have an immense curiosity and appreciation for the ‘hands on’ part of it all.
And now, thanks to fellow blogger Nina of No.40, I have signed up for an upholstery class. It is actually a beginner class, and we will probably be starting out small. But still, a girl can dream (and Pinterest can help). I wonder if this will finally push me over the edge into garage sale madness territory…

My mom knows how to reupholster chairs and couches! I’m actually thinking at some point to redo my kidney shaped white couch! Anyways, sorry to hear you missed the jason wu items online, they do have a dress offered today solely through facebook, but I am not sure if it is your style. No worries Marni and H&M are getting together next month 🙂

Oh cool! That will be so much fun.
I have a headboard for a bed on the to-do list, but it’s going to be very simple.

Class sounds exciting!!! .. I hope you post/share your progress in the class 🙂 I love the sofa/bench look in the dining table. Have considered it for my dining room, but it may be a bit tight .. I can see my guests havign to climb on top of the table to squeeze out hahahaha.

I think it’ll be great fun too (and do plan on documenting it)
@Bessie, yes, your mom is kind of awesome with the creativity.

Good on you Santa. I should really do that too. I have a great upholsterer down the road, but he’s not cheap! That fabric behind the chair in the first pic is beautiful. xxx
