October was, hands down, the busiest month of the year for me. It usually is. I suspect that it’s because we are all trying to fit in as much as we can, before the weather turns cold. From day 1 to day 31, there was a lot of running around.
I am excited for a calmer November. Now I can get back to some of those other diy/home projects on my list…
Holiday Pumpkin Redo
Oh sure, it was cute when The Mr and Junior painted these poor pumpkins at a recent birthday party. They even went for darker colors, very on trend. Alas, the end result was a bit haphazard, to say the least. I plan to paint these and then use them for decoration the rest of the holiday season.
Slipcover: Chair’s Turn
It’s been over a year. But I am still celebrating the fact that I made a slipcover for our living room sofa. Now let’s see if I can get a chair cover done in time for Thanksgiving!
Declutter 2016
And, finally, there are less than two months left in 2016. But I am still determined to get rid of as much clutter as possible.
So, that’s my list. What does yours look like?

I feel like decluttering is always on my list. It seems every time I clear out an area, the clutter just builds up again. We did clean our windows before we went away to Seattle and those are nice and shiny now 😉

I’d be so happy with shiny windows- ours always seem to have tot prints on them 🙂

I feel like declutter is on my list every month but there’s always more things to get rid of!
homestilo says
Ah yes, the never ending clutter. I think the trick is to stay mindful and motivated (nothing like an episode of “Hoarders: Buried Alive” to get you cleaning!)

Hola amiga querida, espero que tengas un bendecido fin de semana

what about decluttering our brain too?! that’s on top of my list, then the laundry and so on!
homestilo says
That is sometimes the hardest place to “declutter”!
