In honor of the fact that today is homestilo’s 100th post! (cue confetti throwing), we’re looking at a Danish remodel of a 1911 villa.
This would have been around the time that the Danish Council for Design Assistance had been established by the Society of Academic Architects. Their aim was to make sure that houses were built well and kept with the traditions of Danish design, by providing “guidance to the population”.
Designed by Katrine Martensen-Larsen of KML Designs, beautiful details abound- just look at those mouldings and picture railings.
